The Lake George Hotel Bungendore

General information

We are located at 20 Gibraltar Street Bungendore. The Hotel itself is one
of Australia's oldest continuously licensed hotels, opening in 1838 as the
Harp Hotel. This was just a year after Bungendore itself was established in
1837. Later in the 1800's it was also known as "Chinners". Our reputation
as family orientated restaurant sees us well patronised and we strongly

GB&D has seating for 120 inside with further outdoor seating in our beer
garden for approximately another 100. The beer garden also features a
children’s play area. (Please note children should be supervised at all
times) In the summer months our Beer Garden quickly fills over the weekend
with families keen to enjoy our relaxed and informal surroundings. Tables
in the garden are not generally reservable and are available on a first
come first served basis. During the summer months we also have acoustic
musicians/bands performing from 2pm on Sunday afternoons.
