'Soil Management Designs' (SOILmgt) is an independent soil evaluation & planning service based in NSW Central Tablelands. High quality soil science is applied – with integrity – in a cost-effective, comprehensive and practical manner. We do not receive commissions for the supply of soil management products. Clients include family farmers and their advisers, winemakers, agribusiness corporations, mining companies, government agencies, lawyers and landscape architects. SOILmgt is strongly aware of the critical importance of subsoil structure in profitable food production systems and associated natural landscapes. Improvements in subsoil structure via the use of regenerative land management practices will boost water-holding capacity, enhance root-zone aeration, provide a better habitat for beneficial soil organisms, and maybe increase carbon accumulation through improved root growth.
