John MacPherson Allan - Guitar & Bass Teacher John has been actively involved in a professional capacity in the music industry for the past 28+ years. Having spent his formative years studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and later playing in various Rock and Jazz bands, John's musical experience and interests traverse several genres of musical styles. Prior to establishing Thornleigh Guitar Academy, John spent several years working in retail music stores in Sydney advising beginners through to advanced musicians in instrument selection and purchase, buying and selling new and second hand instruments and repairing and servicing guitars. Thornleigh Guitar Academy caters for students of all levels, his philosophy is that learning is a journey of discovery and above all fun!
