Aqua Lung - Dieser Name wurde erstmals benutzt, als Kapitän Jacques-Yves Cousteau und der Ingenieur Émile Gagnan ihren Atemregler CG 45 präsentieren. Der Kapitän wollte ihn "poumon automatique à air comprimé pour la plongée" nennen, die englische Übersetzung lautet "automatic compressed air diving lung", kurz AQUA LUNG.
