Kumataka Dōjōs is a national Australian non-profit organisation, practising authentic Sōsuishi-ryū Jujutsu and Iai-jutsu (双水執流組討腰之廻) traditional Kōdokan Jūdō (講道館柔道) and Karate. There are now three dōjōs within the Kumataka Dōjōs located in Bayswater, WA, Epping and Hurstville, NSW. Kumataka means Mountain Hawk-Eagle. It is said that the eagle 'flies highest and sees farthest' and is elegant, powerful and intelligent. This is much like the martial arts that are practised within our dōjōs.
