Houzz 2018 and 2016 Award Winner, Sandy Cousens of Sanctuary In Style, specialises in creating inviting & relaxing spaces with an emphasis on clean, toxic-free living. Through her own health journey, she has become a low-toxic living advocate and has launched her own range products for the home and body: Calm Body and Home. You can find her on Facebook and Instagram @calmbodyandhome where she gathers her knowledge on design, healthy interiors, mindset and low toxic living. She is in the process of writing her first guidebook to gently help others live a healthier life, with a touch of style. Sandy has also painted her first designs for her new Art Range - a high quality range of beautiful artworks that are then painstakingly scanned and printed on watercolour paper, whereby they look and feel like the original. Sandy is of the belief that the spirit and personalities of the owners need to shine through the interiors - it can embody our JOY. Sandy has completed various projects from colour consulting, small bathroom renovations of all budgets, to full scale house renovations. No matter what the budget, Sandy delivers inspired and unique designs for her clientèle.
Sandy is passionate about 'clean living' and encourages her clients wherever possible to include the use of no VOC paints, toxic-reducing indoor plants, and is able to advise clients on how they can incorporate budget-wise decisions to live a more toxic-free, breath-easy lifestyle.
