General information

Objectives of the Foundation: To establish a tax effective funds raising mechanism, so that so that donations to the Foundation will be tax deductible. Acquire land around Shree Jala Kanya Parimaki School so that the existing school, which is very small and inadequate, can be expanded. Build the additional infrastructure required to meet the need of the students (see information on schools appendix 1.) Establish a students “Basic Needs” fund in order to provide the simple necessities for the most basic education. Such things as pens, note books, school bags and clothing are required, because many children simply don’t go to school because their parents cannot afford to buy these things. This will be one of the Foundations early objectives, together with then development of a plan to fund more teachers at the schools. Set up an ongoing program for the volunteers to facilitate/teach English, Maths, Sports or whatever their field of expertise is. Help Shree Ammleshwary Primary School which has the same problems and issues as Shree Jala Kanya Parimaki School Build a Health post at a convenient site between the two schools.
